Blair W. Perry, PhD

Assistant Professor, Department of Integrative Biology 

Blair is an incoming Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrative Biology at Michigan State University. His research centers around understanding how gene regulation contributes to the evolution and function of complex adaptations. Blair received a BS in Zoology from The Ohio State University and a PhD from the University of Texas Arlington with advisor Todd Castoe. He then held postdoctoral positions at Washington State University and the University of California Santa Cruz. Outside of the lab, Blair enjoys photography, playing music, hiking, and knitting.
